Job Description

Art Director


We are seeking an experienced Art Director to own the visual direction for NAKEDCASHMERE & affiliate brands. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in a creative role, with a focus on concepting, art direction and design. This position reports into the Head of Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage communication of approvals and routing of deliverables to key stakeholders and key approvers
  • Collaborate with the CEO & Head of Marketing to concept, design, and produce engaging content that aligns across all digital & print platforms
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in design, technology, and marketing to ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive
  • Thoroughly understand and clearly convey a cohesive brand voice throughout all marketing materials, while continuously elevating the overall aesthetic
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand & deliver upon channel needs
  • Translate marketing briefs into attention-grabbing communications that align with our brand strategy and objectives
  • Drive processes for workflow efficiencies and be solution-oriented in the face of challenges
  • Manage graphic design team & coordinate graphic design team workload, providing creative direction and guidance and contributing to asset development as needed



Qualifications

  • Have a self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit. Be willing and ready to design assets and roll up your sleeves to create work and direction when and where necessary
  • Interests in design, fashion, marketing, social and digital trends
  • Exceptional portfolio of graphic design and photo art direction required
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and performance marketing channels
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a creative/design role with expertise in typography, design, photography, and both printed and digital marketing
  • Strong communication skills and be able to work cross functionally with creative leads, design, visual merchandising, and marketing
  • Deep knowledge of how to execute in both digital and print mediums.
  • Photography and/or illustration skills are a plus
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Sketch
  • Background managing team of graphic designers
  • Self-driven, detailed oriented and accustomed to juggling multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines
