ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER - Retail Design

• Salary-range: $60K to $98K per year DOE. They can pay more!

SUMMARY:

Architectural Designers are needed with the responsibility to create & convey design intent through graphic and verbal presentations.

IDEAL CANDIDATES:

• Great communication skills, common sense and a proclivity towards leadership.
• Skill in: Grasshopper, 3D Studio Max, Enscape, Vasari/alternative, Procore—helps.
• Experience in design, production, QC/QA, construction administration, client interaction and consultant coordination.
• Experience with site investigation and all project phases, preferred.
• Have an understanding of how long production tasks should take.
• High level of flexibility, drive and multi-tasking skill.
• Have a thorough understanding of U.S. building codes and life safety requirements.
• Can show experience preparing technical documents for a past design firm.
• BArch./MArch. Degree.
• High level of skill in: Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/similar, preferred.
• Have three to 6+ years of Architecture design experience doing technical documentation of Mixed-Use, Retail, Hotel projects.
• Can "cartoon-out" technical document deliverables & can help calculate cost-effective fees.
• Previous responsibility for overseeing and managing assigned staff.
• An understanding of how great design positively influences the bottom-line of any design firm.
• Have a solid understanding of building systems, materials apps and construction techniques, including coordination with other disciplines, designers and engineers.
