Architect/Designer Jobs

Kootenia is seeking an architect/designer with a drive and purpose. We exist to serve our clients’ dreams as well with creativity, transforming their spaces, the environment, and the communities in which we live. We provide residential architectural designs for custom clients. We’re based in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Here’s what success looks like in this role:

• Working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting your deadlines
• The drive to get things done without needing to be micromanaged.
• Develop and produce drawings to meet deadlines.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, ability to take criticism well and willingness to learn/apply feedback.
• Collaborating with and supporting the team on residential projects from start to finish.
• Burning desire to bring beauty, creativity, and bold thinking to our projects.
• Anticipate the needs of our team and projects, getting out ahead of potential roadblocks to ensure we work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Hard-worker, efficient with your time and a commitment to our team and goals. We rise and fall as a team, so we’re serious about working together as one unit.

What you’ll need to apply:

• Strong attention to visual details
• Years of professional experience working in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Lumion.
• Experience in presenting ideas professionally
• Must be in the Woodbury, Minnesota area. We have required office days every week.
• Great communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and willingness to work with a team.
• 1-5 years of professional experience at an architecture/design firm
• Architect licensure is not required.
• Professional degree in architecture (BArch, or equal)

You must be a problem solver and a self-starter to work here.
