Intrepid Music Group, a rapidly growing music publishing company, is seeking an A&R Creative Intern to join our team. As an A&R Creative Intern, you will have the opportunity to scout new talent, attend showcases, facilitate collaborations, and build relationships with industry executives. You'll also get to participate in brainstorming sessions, gain insights into the industry, and contribute to the growth of our dynamic and exciting music publishing company.

Location: Hybrid

Duration: 3 Months (Unpaid)

Key Responsibilities:

Scout new talent and attend showcases to assist with artist and writer development

Coordinate with writers and producers to facilitate collaborations with our roster of writers and other industry professionals

Build and maintain relationships with industry executives, managers, artists, and producers to keep up with current trends and identify potential business opportunities

Assist in the creation and development of marketing plans, budgets, and timelines for artists and writers

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts for new projects

Attend meetings, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and gain insights into the industry

Provide administrative support to the A&R team as needed

Requirements:

Passion for music and a strong understanding of the industry

Excellent communication, organization, and networking skills

Familiarity with various music genres and a willingness to explore new sounds

Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Currently enrolled in a degree program or recent graduate in music business, business administration, or a related field

Prior experience in A&R or the music industry is a plus
