Apprentice Lineman (Iowa) Jobs

IES Commercial, Inc. – Commercial & Industrial Division, in Holdrege, NE seeking full-time Apprentice Lineman for work in the Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas areas as needed. Per Diem Eligibility Applies.

Job Summary

• Opportunity to learn the power line construction trade from an industry leader
• Assist with the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission and distribution lines
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Operate aerial trucks, digger derricks and associated equipment
• Erect, frame, climb and replace poles
• Travel as required.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass DOT physicals/drug tests as required
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) DOT drug test, background check and MVR check.
• Ability to read construction documents
• Recent experience or education with power line construction, transmission/distribution
