The opportunity We are now hiring for an Application Test Coordinator to join our team at COSOL. This role will be positioned in our America’s team, and working from our Denver, Colorado office. Ideally, we are seeking an individual available for an immediate start or can commence upon short notice.
The Application Test Coordinator plays a critical role in application release management to ensure software testing is completed according to the project schedules. The Coordinator will utilize best practices and methodologies to carry out the required duties while being flexible to unique project requirements.
You can expect your role to involve:
- Serve as central point of contact for all test related communication Manage the client UAT process
- Contribute to the completion of test scripts where the script does not require extensive knowledge of applications
- Prepare, coordinate, assign, and track testing tasks ensuring all tasks are completed per project timelines
- Identify, implement and document improvements to increase quality of test process and deliverables
- Provide reports to reflect testing progress, issues, potential risks, and lessons learned when needed
- Perform other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure project schedules are planned and react to changing priorities
- Establish and maintain knowledge of COSOL’s services and clientele
- Ensure testing standards and other established processes are being followed appropriately to guarantee quality deliverables
- Train and provide direction to Application Support team members regarding test documentation, processes, standards, and deliverables
- Manage system containing test scripts (JIRA/Zephyr)
- Troubleshooting problems encountered in test scripts or software
What you will bring
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Expertise and ability to effectively use office productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize outstanding work based on deadlines
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in test management tools
- An associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Well-organized self-starter with time management skills
