Work Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in Information Technologies, or other related areas with experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
Preferred: At least 5 years’ experience in Information Technologies, or other related areas with experience support Microsoft 365 applications.
Possible certifications (not required): One or more Microsoft 365 Certifications such as Developer Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Teamwork Administrator Associate, Fundamentals or Enterprise Administrator.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Project management experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure Administration, and Microsoft 365 online groups.
- Experience in the development of technical user documentation.
- Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and effective oral and written communication/public relation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and put ideas into action.
- Personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Essential Functions
This position will deliver a roadmap, delivery strategies, support, and training for the Microsoft 365 suite of tools and applications. The suite includes, but is not limited to, Teams, Office, Outlook, Flow, PowerApps, and OneDrive.
Job Duties
- Provide support to employees for technical and configuration issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.
- Serve as the ITS point of contact regarding new requests related to Microsoft Applications and related solutions to meet business needs.
- Ensure effective use of existing applications and deliver new solutions in a timely manner.
- Provide system support and maintain uptime of applications within acceptable standards.
- Identify, research, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions and applications such as Teams, Office, Outlook, Flow, PowerApps, OneDrive, Bookings, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Develop, maintain, and update Microsoft 365 governance documentation.
- Provide best practice advice and guidance to the campus related to email and related services.
- Stay current on Microsoft 365 changes, updates, and new releases and keep the campus informed on forthcoming changes.
- Partner with ITS and other workgroups for the integration and testing of applications that support or integrate with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Provide application maintenance.
