Here’s what you will do…
An Application Developer II is responsible for helping generate systems and application solutions that drive and support business needs; performs audits and maintains current integrations. An Application Developer II understands the company internal systems and how they work together to supply information to the stakeholders and end users. Also, participates in company projects as the systems and applications advisor. This role is part of the Information Technology team.
Here’s more of what you will do...
Designs and develops new software and applications; and modifies existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Trains end users to operate new or modified programs.
  • Ensures applications integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure of the company.
  • Designs and creates new data structures and ETL processes as required for solutions development.
  • Writes, translates and codes software programs and applications according to specifications and end user requirements.
  • Designs, codes, tests, documents and debugs new and existing applications according to industry best practices.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all development related issues, concerns, and needs.
  • Prepares and writes reports for leadership and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
Researches and recommends improved software development tools, algorithms and processes.
  • Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages and standards to support current and future business strategies.
  • Routinely analyzes application performance against industry developments to determine options for improvement.
  • Presents ideas for software improvements, including cost proposals.
  • Monitors, analyzes, optimizes and improves existing applications and source code.
  • Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and performance of company applications, as necessary.
  • Implements software improvements and upgrades as needed.
  • Documents, investigates, fixes and reports on software defects.
Collaborates on application design, development, and maintenance to ensure that the quality and functionality of the end product meets customer requirements.
  • Consults with systems users to determine functional specifications and writes programming code to create or enhance functionality and/or appearance of company applications.
  • Analyzes user requirements and recommends solutions, envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Assists in defining scope and specifications for software and application projects.
  • Documents software deliverables and end user specifications.
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to align and support priorities.
  • Consults with end users to create documentation relating to program definition development business requirements.
  • Implements software improvements and upgrades.
  • Acts as the technology liaison for contract developers and provides necessary data structures and other support for their development efforts.
Designs, runs and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, insolating areas for improvement and general debugging.
  • Tests, loads, and troubleshoots code for new and existing applications.
  • Analyzes test results, formulates modifications and implements solutions to problem areas.

Here’s what you must have to be considered for this role…
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Ability to Gather Requirements From Internal Teams in Order to Provide Results in a Customer Focused Environment
  • Three to Five Years Progressively Responsible Systems/Application Development Experience
  • Previous Experience Working with MS SQL Server and MSSQL Analysis Services
  • Experience in Designing and Building the Database Portion of the Solution; Knowledge of OLAP and Relational Databases
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or Other Related Field
Here’s what we hope you have…
  • Previous Experience With Advanced Report Creation Using MS Reporting Services
  • Three Plus Years’ Experience in Designing, Implementing and Building Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Systems in a MS SQL Server Environment
  • MuleSoft and/or Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience Managing Full Software Development Lifecycle From Problem Definition, Requirements Definition, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation
  • Experience supporting a CRM solution
  • Experience in Data Warehouse Architectures, Life Cycle and Deployments
  • Advanced Communication and Interpersonal Skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Continual hand/wrist motion is required to operate computers and office machinery.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and twist is required for filing and general office duties.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate computers and office machinery.
  • Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email and preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.
  • Exerts up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or negligible amount frequently to move office-related items or materials.
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office equipment.
  • Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety policies and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time and operate computer equipment.
