Who We Are Looking For
As our APLA (Asia Pacific & Latin America) Sports Marketing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for centrally managing end to end operations serving our geo’s athletes, teams, and major sport moments! You’ll work cross-functionally with Planning, Product, and Brand teams to align and execute against seasonal strategies, while leading the management of tools and processes that support on time delivery of promo product to APLA territories. This candidate will need to be a highly collaborative teammate, and must excel in organization, communication, and time management.
What You Will Work On
Responsibilities will include overseeing the development, roll out, and maintenance of Sports Marketing specific tools, ensuring user adoption and systematic compliance. You’ll manage forecasts and allocations, key dates and gates, and special product requests. You’ll be expected to monitor buys, creatively resolve coverage issues, and maintain healthy inventory levels. Additionally, you’ll partner with global and territory sports marketing to develop and manage high heat product seeding strategy, based on athlete profile and brand initiatives. Seasonally, you’ll publish contract consumption reports, use data to improve forecasts and shape buys, and work with territory sports marketing teammates to review usage and proactively liquidate aging inventory. In short, you’ll ensure that Nike's Sports Marketing contractual agreements are satisfied and that the right product is received at the right place, at the right time.
Who You Will Work With
You’ll report to the Director of APLA Sports Marketing Operations, and you’ll work alongside a central APLA Sports Marketing ops team to support territory sports marketing ops leads and reps. Collaboration with Global Sports Marketing, GSA, PTL, Planning, and Merch is critical to success.
What You Bring
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, MMX
  • Capable of juggling multiple time sensitive priorities and communicate bad news when necessary
  • Ability to manage high profile communication and contractual obligations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including: meeting facilitation, presentations (Keynote/Adobe/Powerpoint), Excel and MS Office experience
  • Understanding of Nike Matrix, and the sports and fitness industry
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing or related field, or combination of education, experience and training
  • 5+ years of experience in Sports Marketing, Operations or Supply Chain
  • Experience in aligning cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams
