Overview:

We have a rare opportunity for an Airframe & Powerplant Technician! Do you wish you could put your technical expertise to work for what we do which is what cultivates our success in the Aerospace Industry. This position is based in Burlington, VT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Tech Support (A&P Mechanic), you will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment.
  • You will proudly serve as local on-site RTX representative to the customer's organization, managing statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.
  • You may conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
  • There is up to 20% travel for this role.
  • You will manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
  • The Tech Support (A&P Mechanic) may also troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or an Associates Degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License
  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience - rigging, R&I, MRP's, aircraft interface
  • Shop/Bench refurbishment experience
  • Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components
  • P&WC powered Airframe experience
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working as an A&P Mechanic
  • Customer service skills
  • Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management preferred
  • Prior PT6, PW300, PW500 and PW600 shop and field experience is a plus
