It Field Service Technician

Delaney Computer Services, Inc., also known as DCS, is seeking a dedicated, problem-solving IT Support Field Technician to join our rapidly growing team. Our ideal candidate is a technical expert passionate about delivering exceptional customer service both in the office and the field.

• Assist in maintaining and updating company computer systems, including software and hardware upgrades.
• Install and configure network equipment such as switches, access points, VoIP phones, desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals.
• Train end-users on how to set up and use new technologies.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution
• Provide on-site technical assistance at client sites, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of hardware and software systems.
• Maintain an inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
• Respond to IT issues, including hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• A basic understanding of structured cabling troubleshooting and Microsoft 365.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.
• Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A minimum of a 2-year AAS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
