What Will You Be Doing?

The Analyst, Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Programs – Inflight is responsible for leading and administering the Inflight Experience quality assurance program and will serve as the primary Inflight liaison as it relates to cabin (Inflight) safety programs. The role will collect, review, analyze, trend and report out on data collected through the Inflight Supervisor Quality Assurance Ride program, Inflight Support Coach audits and Inflight Training Personnel audits. This position will lead the departments Safety Management System (SMS) program and work closely with the Manager of Policies and Procedures and Manager of Inflight Training to enhance policies and procedures and training curriculum based on findings from collected data.

Essential Functions

  • Perform FAA mandated Flight Attendant manual audits and positive check-ins as needed.
  • Participate in all areas of Inflight Department, including training, recognition programs, etc.
  • Provide guidance in developing and mentoring Flight Attendants.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with operational and non-operational counterparts (e.g. Airport Services, Flight Ops, Technical Ops, Crew Resources, AFA leadership, FFF, and OSHA).
  • Responsible for administering the Inflight Experience quality assurance program including the review, analysis, trending and reporting out of data collected through the Inflight Supervisor Quality Assurance Ride program, Inflight Support Coach audits and Inflight Training Personnel audits.
  • Work with Inflight Policies & Procedures Manager to develop and implement new policies and procedures based on trends and analyses.
  • Incorporate new processes to continually improve departmental metrics to meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Review, understand and monitor all Inflight Department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations, departmental and company standards and performance metrics.
  • Oversee the Inflight Safety Management System, including leading bi-monthly Data Analysis Group (DAG) meetings, serving as the Inflight Representative for ASAP report review and Fatigue Risk Management Program reviews.
  • Serve the primary Inflight Liaison with corporate safety department.
  • Collect and analyze data on Inflight service/products, including Flight Attendant compliance with policies and procedures.

Other Functions

  • May perform other responsibilities/special projects as assigned.
  • Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technical developments)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant airline experience
  • Previously analytical experience and/or experience with Inflight Training curriculum development, Inflight policies and procedures development or Inflight Operations.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Flight Attendant
  • Must be able to qualify as a Flight Attendant and maintain current qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data modeling or forecasting strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing and managing a department budget required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel periodically.
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as the Inflight Performance Management Policy.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others in a manner that supports teamwork and product delivery.
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand and move throughout office/airport/airplane for extended periods of time.
  • Knowledge of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and how they apply to daily operations.
  • Ability to speak well in public and maintain a positive image for the Inflight Department and Frontier Airlines as a whole.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated project management skills to meet strict deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to use mathematical techniques to analyze and present data, make recommendations and solve problems.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers

Work Environment / Remote Work Options

  • If headquarters-based, typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled
  • If remote, you must be able to follow our remote work policies, including ability and comfort level working from home with access to a high-speed internet connection
  • This role can be based at our headquarters in Denver, CO or anywhere in the United States via a remote work arrangement (periodic travel to Denver from a Frontier-serviced city required)
