About the Position

The Analyst, Consumer Insights, will support the Senior Manager of Omnichannel Analytics in developing data-driven, analytical decision-making for our brand. This role will help make our data consumable and actionable by creating reports, developing insights, and providing recommendations to improve the business. This person will work cross-functionally between teams to guide measurement frameworks, learning agendas, data strategy, and performance analytics.


A day in the life…

  • Create and maintain dashboards through data visualization tools (ie. Data Studio, Looker, etc.) Define and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting packages and dashboards to enable the eCommerce team to continuously measure and optimize business performance in all key functional areas, including: online customer shopping behavior, site merchandising effectiveness, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Support team members in addressing ad hoc requests, using all available data and resources.
  • Identifying trends and strategic opportunities to drive growth, including brand building, promotional strategies, site functionality, business partnerships, product assortment, market expansion, etc.
  • Assist in ongoing maintenance of current Google Analytics UA properties, as well as upcoming migration to GA4 properties.
  • Serve as the team’s resident expert on the use of available analytics tools, ensuring that the eCommerce teams employ analytics best practices in the design, execution and tracking of the online storefront and marketing vehicles, and in addressing ad hoc requests, using all available data and resources.
  • Support the vision and creation of marketing and on-site test measurement plans and tagging strategies.
  • Transform data into digestible and actionable insights through strong storytelling and data synthesis.
  • Help lead market research, customer satisfaction and other qualitative or quantitative research projects.
  • Partner with on site content team to identify insights and opportunities stemming from ratings and reviews.
  • Monitor and report on Business KPIs, marketing and media performance, and consumer journey (including weekly, monthly, and quarterly recaps).
  • Work in close collaboration with eCommerce buying, planning, marketing, online merchandising, production and finance teams to achieve the group's overall eCommerce business and financial goals.
  • Improve data governance, including ongoing oversight of data quality and closing gaps on discrepancies.
  • Manage relationships with external solution and service providers as needed.


Qualifications for the Position

  • Experience with social listening tools and survey research is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels and key performance metrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of analytics, research, or consumer insights experience, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
  • Expert in Digital Analytics Tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe.
  • Extensive knowledge across paid, owned, and earned channels, with a focus of analytical expertise in omnichannel, media (display, paid search, programmatic, paid social), organic social, site, app, email, CDP and SEO.
  • Strategic thinker who can identify what questions should be asked, and how to best answer them.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data across business areas into digestible insights for stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in digital analytics, audience discovery and segmentation, measurement, modeling, and data quality.
  • Power excel user who is comfortable with a variety of BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • A four-year college degree is required, preferably with a major/minor in marketing, economics, or analytics.
