Job Summary

Become a member of an intelligence Coordination Center supporting Department of Navy (DoN) and Department of Defense (DoD) efforts. Research and Development Acquisitions (RDA) focused All-Source Intelligence analyst will analyze, coordinate, integrate, and employ multiple lines of effort in support of counterintelligence (CI), intelligence operations, security operations, criminal investigative operations, and cyber efforts. Utilizing experience in applicable tradecraft driplines Analyst identify, assess, and disrupt threats against the DoN’s RDA ecosystem, Critical Program Information (CPI) protection operations, Critical and Emerging Technologies platforms along the consortium of DOD research and development research affiliates.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Verify data, using multiple sources to ascertain that vital data is correct, thorough, and timely
• Prepare reports that range in complexity from a summary of a target or individual threat to comprehensive data about regions, hostile organizations, or overall threats
• Collect, collate, assess, and evaluate confidential information on potential threats, persons of interest, and strategic targets.
• Display excellent critical thinking skills to judge the relevance and accuracy of the data they gather from reports and informants, identify consistencies, contradictions, and gaps
• Participate in joint working groups with Intelligence Community (IC), Law Enforcement (LE), and Department of Defense DoD members to address joint agency concerns, operation, and efforts
• Utilize experience in All Source Intelligence Analysis, to work independently on an assigned program account
• Reference extensive experience in gathering and assessing data from a wide variety of sources
• Maintain detailed records and files containing their findings and sources using best practices in information retention and warehousing
• Engage, brief and work with senior DoD and/or or corporate leadership figures regarding the national security-related issues
• Protect sensitive data, maintain the confidentiality of witnesses or informants, and ensure that intelligence information is safe from intrusion
• Read previous intelligence reports to verify information and ensure that they have a complete picture of associated threats and vulnerabilities in order to determine whether gaps exist in current intelligence and strategic assessments
• Provide recommendations based on the intelligence analyst’s findings and available reporting
• Leverage knowledge of research, development, engineering, and/or the federal acquisition process to evaluate and advise leadership and stake holders
• Provide relevant information based on information the analyst has gathered and verified

Qualifications And Skills

• Onsite in Quantico 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week
• Verify information and ensure that they have a complete picture of associated threats and vulnerabilities to determine whether gaps exist in current intelligence and strategic assessments
• Comprehensive understanding of intelligence cycle and IC standards
• Ability to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meet or exceed established analytical standards
• Significant experience preparing and presenting briefings that require limited editing/corrections
• Advanced MS PowerPoint knowledge and experience
• Utilize experience gathering and assessing data from a wide variety of sources
• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is desired
• Basic knowledge of computer operations and demonstrated computer skills in a variety of software environments with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel and MS Project)
• Must be able to work with little oversight or as part of a team
• Must have 4 years of All Source, LE, or CI Analytic experience within a DoD environment preforming the functions below:
• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
• Evaluate confidential information on potential threats, persons of interest, and strategic targets
• General understanding of government acquisitions processes or federal Research Development & Engineering (RD&E) processes is desired but not required
