The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning oversight of Airshare’s scheduled maintenance in a manner that is compliant with policies outlined in Airshare’s 135 and 91K General Maintenance Manual. The Maintenance Planner is the communication point between Maintenance Planning, Base Managers and MX Control with regards to scheduled maintenance events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Develop process improvements that improve efficiencies and reduce out of service time.
- Assist with budget planning for yearly maintenance cost of fractional fleet.
- Utilize current aircraft maintenance tracking program to create work orders for Fractional and Managed aircraft fleet.
- Communicate maintenance event down times with Maintenance Control and Flight Operations and Base Managers.
- Hold weekly meetings with Base Managers, MX Control and Senior Management to discuss upcoming maintenance events.
- Provide scheduled maintenance projection updates to Manager of Maintenance Scheduling.
- Communicate with Managed Aircraft Customer Service Representative on upcoming scheduled maintenance for managed fleet.
- Establish communication with outside vendors to coordinate planned maintenance events that require outside vendors.
- Utilize current aircraft maintenance tracking program to project future aircraft maintenance for Fractional and Managed aircraft fleet.
- Continually monitor aircraft maintenance tracking program to ensure future maintenance is not overrun.
Qualified candidates will have ten plus years of work experience with turbine power aircraft and hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic’s License. Candidates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
