Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Aircraft Data Specialist in the Industrial Business Practice Sections, Operations Support Branch in the Performance Operations Management and Support Division of FLTREADCEN EAST. NTE 2 YEAR-MAY BE EXTENDED OR MADE PERMANENT WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION Responsibilities You will advise personnel on alternative approaches to solve customer issues. You will compose correspondence or other written work (e.g., financial or technical reports, research data) to defend modifications to previously approved plans. You will brief an organization on issues concerning community development and potential encroachment activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Ensure quality and timely delivery of required documents for aircraft maintenance and support to Production, Contractors, Logistics, Engineering and Fleet Personnel. 2) Prepares production status reports describing status and forecast, scheduling problems or delinquencies and schedule recovery actions. 3) Attend conferences and meetings pertaining to logbooks and record. 4) Initiates contact with the customer and serves as point of contact throughout completion of the customer's requirement.
