Description

Duties: Work on all aspects of the research lifecycle such as formulating AI/ML research problems for financial businesses, gathering data, generating hypotheses, developing models and algorithms, conducting experiments, synthesizing results, building prototype applications, and communicating research results. Conduct end-to-end research within a specialized focus area in machine learning and natural language processing, e.g., deep learning, statistical machine learning, information representation and retrieval, graphs, or natural language understanding and generation. Build, tune and evaluate NLP models including text classification, topic modeling, and data extraction. Apply text-processing tools and NLP frameworks. Work on multiple research projects in collaboration with internal and external researchers as well as with applied engineering teams. Produce high-impact business applications, open source software, along with patents and/or publications in AI/ML conferences and journals.

Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field of study.

Skills Required: Requires the following skills: Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Spark; Python; Hadoop; Linux; SQL; Tensorflow; Keras; PyTorch; HuggingFace; gensim; stanza; fastText; Spacy; and NLTK. Experience in skills may be obtained through professional work experience, graduate studies, or internships.

Full-Time. Salary: $136,900 - $195,000 per year.
