Position Summary

To grow JCB’s North American market share and dealer network in the agriculture sector by building and developing the necessary foundations for long term business success and profitability. Focus of responsibility will be based on region.


The territory for this role includes: Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, and the western panhandle of Texas.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Review dealer target market opportunities and provide feeds into our dealer pipeline
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of JCB products and competitor products to facilitate sales efforts that affect target markets
  • Forecast, track and report sales activities to leadership
  • Take a leadership role in the development of the JCB dealer base
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Build the JCB business strategy for sales to the agriculture sector
  • Understand the key performance indicators that leverage our dealer’s business
  • Continually identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability
  • Identify, build and develop strategic and profitable dealer networks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable
  • Have established contacts and relevant experience within the agriculture industry


Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years outside sales experience in the industry
  • BA in Business/Agri Business or similar


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Ability to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to build and lead an effective team
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and business development
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
  • Ability to motivate others and drive for results
  • Proven success in analyzing and forecasting trends
  • Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening


Job Conditions:
