As Ninety continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on an IT Specialist that will work with all departments across the organization to continue to build, and maintain, our information technology policies and practices. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and is crucial to continue providing our internal users with the access and resources needed to assist our customers.


Ninety works in a small team structure, where Product, Design, Engineering, QA and Product Marketing all work in one or more “pods” together through the full product life cycle. All Responsibilities below are relevant to the pod(s) you are on.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Leading and Coaching teams in Agile best practices
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s SDLC policy
  • Share periodic project status updates and metrics across the organization
  • Manage access across various systems and applications
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine technology/process needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Promoting delivery of business value


To be successful in this role, you must have:


  • 4+ years of experience facilitating Agile teams on Technology projects
  • A dedication to being part of a team balances the needs of their customers and the wellbeing of its team members.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to own and execute Agile best practices
  • Familiarity with coding practices and spoken language/concepts (DevOps, Branching Strategies, Angular, NodeJS, AWS, Serverless Framework)
  • Experience with applications such as JIRA, Google Workspace, BitBucket, Slack, etc. (or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to breakdown technical issues thoroughly and efficiently, and be able to articulate the concept to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure


Nice to have:


  • Experience working at a fast-growing SaaS company
  • Agile professional certifications (CSM, PSM, CSP, SSM)
  • Formal Education Preferred
  • Understanding of security protocols and best practices.


What Success Looks Like:


  • Continued personal development and growth
  • Collaborate with team members, but do not act as a manager, lead developer, Project Manager, or Product Owner
  • Maintaining a high trust environment between our engineering and product departments
  • Serve as a primary problem solver for any issues, roadblocks, and risks
  • Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies (Daily Standup, Demonstration, Retrospective, Iteration Planning, Backlog Grooming) and foster continuous improvement
