Advanced User Exp Designer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities:
- Partner with developers to deliver the best experience for the user.
- Lead the entire iterative design process from discovery to launch.
- Work closely with product leaders to clarify and address key business/customer goal.
- Lead the use and evolution of the Forge UX Design System to create consistent interfaces our customers recognize as Honeywell products.
- Document functional user requirements to communicate design, process, rationale and decisions that direct and support UX/UI and functional design.
- Collaborate with UX Research partners to discover and champion the needs of all customer groups and use that knowledge to help influence business strategies and design decisions.
- Design, implement and validate user interfaces for massively scalable programs and applications across desktop and mobile.
- Account for each stage of the user journey using user flow diagrams, sketches, etc.

Location: Atlanta, GA
40 hours/week
Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related Graphic Design position.
Must possess three (3) years of experience in the following: digital product design working with customers in either commercial airlines, air transport (ATR) or business and general aviation (BGA); usability testing; user research; designing user experiences, including personas, journey maps, and functional designs; multi-platform development, including Native Mobile, Responsive Web, and Desktop Applications; working in an Agile Software Development environment and understanding of how design fits within that framework; user-centered design methodologies and how to apply them; Business Intelligence Software interactions and functions; participating in strategy UX discussions; designing iOS and Android applications in Xamarin; and working within a design system.
Telecommuting up to 2 times per week.
