Opportunity: We are currently seeking an Admissions Operations Manager (AOM) who will be responsible for overseeing our Slate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and all functions of Admissions Operations. The AOM will play a significant role in our communication efforts. This individual will work closely with the Admissions Counselors and Admissions Visit staff, Marketing and Communications, and Technology Services. Essential Functions: Manage Covenant's Slate CRM system for Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, including new feature management, performing maintenance and developing customizations. This includes, but is not limited to, project management of annual application updates and process revisions, training faculty and staff, importing and exporting data, building reports and queries, troubleshooting issues that arise, assisting with automated communication and more. Additionally, this role will identify, collaborate, and incorporate new Slate CRM functionality and enhancements. Support the processing of the Admissions budget expenses, approvals, and requisitions. Work directly with other staff in the department to manage budget, process PO's and other related tasks. Work closely with Marketing & Communications and the Associate Director of Admissions Operations and Visit Programs to develop and implement a communication plan for prospective students. Ensure that the plan is executed in a timely manner, with consistent monitoring and evaluation. Maintain compliance with professional standards and federal regulations pertaining to college admissions. Develop, implement and monitor the standards for data collection, use and retention in accordance with local, state, federal and international regulations. Act as liaison between Admissions and several departments on campus, mainly Marketing & Communications, and Information Services, representing the office's needs and bridging any communication gaps that might exist. This includes regular telephone, messaging services and face-to-face communications. Supervise the Admissions Operations Coordinator. Fulfill other duties assigned by the Associate Director of Admissions Operations and Visit Programs. Competencies: A tech savvy, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to establish plans, manage multiple assignments with conflicting timelines and priorities, and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. Ability to effectively interact with various constituencies of the college, internal and external. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Associate Degree Five years related experience Preferred Education/Experience: Professional experience managing Slate or a similar CRM system in an admission, sales or fundraising setting SQL, HTML and other coding skills Data Analytics Covenant College graduate Additional Eligibility Requirements: An acceptance of and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Must be able to assent to Covenant College's Staff Commitments Physical Work Environment: This role is expected to be performed on campus unless otherwise directed or arranged for and operates primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and other job-related technology. There is a mix of standing and sitting for this particular role. Classified as light, occasional lifting or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) up to 10 lbs. Expressing or exchanging ideas and conversation by means of the spoken word; needs to be fluent and conversant using the English language. Generally, full-time college staff days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
