Admissions Coordinator

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining intake services, coordination of care planning and referral networking strategies to meet organizational objectives. You will also promote Performance Improvement and service delivery that is aligned with the agency’s primary mission.


Requirements:

  • COVID –19 Vaccination / approved exemption status
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining referral relationships, networking strategies.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, applicable experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are required.
  • 3-5 years of intake/admissions experience preferably in behavioral healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for benefit eligibility and confirmation.
  • Liaison to clients regarding insurance benefits and coverage.
  • Scheduling and completing admission assessments and required paperwork.
  • Coordinate admissions and discharges for all clients.
  • Assist with coordinating and arranging client payment plans when necessary.
  • Assist with coordinating and collecting co-pays, deductibles or other fees from clients that may be due at admission, during treatment, at discharge, or post-discharge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with Utilization Review by assisting the corporate office with billing issues.
