Job Description
The Administrative Services Coordinator I (Research) has primary responsibility for the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) department’s administrative and clerical functions, in addition to providing administrative support to research activities.


  • Schedule meetings as requested by the Manager of Medical Program Operations, faculty members, and CTU staff.
  • Purchased and maintains all trial and office supplies and equipment. This includes destruction of expired supplies and ordering new supplies for all trials.
  • Provides overall and administrative support for the department including answering and triaging phone calls and/or taking messages, sorting and distributing mail and faxes, managing departmental email account, booking conference rooms, and assuming all administrative front desk responsibilities as needed.
  • Assists the management team with various office-related tasks (e.g., preparing forms, mailing and distribution of correspondence as needed, preparation of study binders, website updates, data entry, etc.).
  • Develops, implements, and maintains efficient and effective systems for handling departmental administrative and clerical functions.


EDUCATION


  • AA or equivalent college-level program, business school degree, preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.


EXPERIENCE


Two (2) years of successful employment in an administrative/clerical position required.
