ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant II to support our Wilmington, Newark and Union campuses.

The Administrative Assistant II will serve as a key team member who works collaboratively to provide administrative and operational support to approximately 200 Hospitalist Partners.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain calendar/schedule for the CCHP clinical leaders at all campuses and provide additional administrative support as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Medical-Dental Staff Office and assist in keeping certifications, credentialing, and personnel files up to date.
  • Assists with entering the provider payroll in Kronos.
  • Perform other related duties as required.        
  • Assign all patients on the Hospitalist service to a provider prior to their scheduled shift via the EMR based on the established algorithm. Utilize the verification process to confirm that all patients are accounted for. Review the records for all non-cohorted patients to ensure that details related to discharge readiness were added and reach out to assigned providers to complete if missing.
  • Track and submit invoices through Workday.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years’ work experience in healthcare required, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
