Adjunct Instructor, Teacher Education, Curriculum And Instruction (Pool Posting)

The number of Teacher Education courses offered each semester is dependent on student demand. The need may include both graduate and undergraduate courses in Curriculum and Instruction.

The successful applicant will bring strong qualifications both academically and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses on campus and/or online.
• Contribute to the instructional mission of the Teacher Education Department and Patton College of Education.
• Using blackboard for academic engagement

Minimum Qualifications

• Current or prior teaching license
• Experience using technology for teaching
• Experience teaching students for that field
• Master’s degree in the field or comparable (for undergraduate-level courses) or terminal degree in the field or comparable (for graduate-level courses)

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or a related field
• Experience and expertise in teacher education
• Demonstrated knowledge of theory and research-supported best practices for teaching and learning
• Ability to deliver online instruction
• Evidence of professional training or attendance and/or presentations at conferences
