Job Description

ReSource Pro is looking for a Adaptive Planning Manager (Financial Systems) to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. This is an exciting opportunity for an established professional to work in a growing FP&A team within a larger services organization.


The Adaptive Planning Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of the key financial technologies supporting the Accounting and FP&A functions. This will include Adaptive Planning, Workday and other business-related technologies. Working collaboratively with the Technology group, the Planning Manager, will ensure the tools and technologies meet business user needs and requirements, and that ReSource Pro is fully leveraging the power and capabilities of the tool sets.


This is a remote position that can work anywhere in the USA.


Responsibilities:

Business Technology Administration and Maintenance

  • Collaborate with the Technology Team on maintenance of Adaptive Planning, Workday reporting, infrastructure; Administer Workday reporting; Update Workday to support newly acquired businesses; Ensure Accounting, Finance and business function requirements are met; Maintenance and update of all Adaptive Planning assumptions, rules and formulas as needed; Creation of new budgeting and forecasting versions in Adaptive Planning.


Solution Design and Implementation

  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance and business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements and priorities for information systems and solutions; Develop internal Accounting and business line reporting; Collaborate with global Accounting and FP&A to ensure system is meeting global requirements. Update Adaptive to support newly acquired business.


Lead Interface between Technology and Accounting/FP&A

  • Act as the “bridge” between the Accounting and FP&A teams and the Technology teams; Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A and Technology teams to keep all reporting tools synchronized.


Business Lead on Technology-related Projects

  • Leads the upgrade/enhancement of the Adaptive Planning, Workday and other financial systems platforms, ensuring the system design aligns with industry best practices.
  • Explore and lead the development and execution of other reporting and automation tools to drive Finance and Accounting efficiencies.


Experience Required:

  • 5+ years leading or influencing cross functional teams
  • 5+ years of Adaptive Planning and Workday experience required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting or finance role
  • Experience working within a multi-national, global business preferred


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree: Accounting, Finance, Business or Related


License/Certificates:

  • Workday Certification (Financials and Adaptive) Preferred
