Job Summary

We’re looking for a talented marketing-driven, paid-ad focused writer with a deep understanding of performance creative, SEO and keyword strategies. Supporting our Senior Copywriter, you will create ad scripts for UGC-led video creative, search engine optimized blog posts, amazon listings, and occasional branded work for email & ecomm channels. You will create high-performing, click-worthy content that is equally engaging as it is impactful at connecting with our customers and generating conversion.

We’re looking for someone with a strong writing ability, a passion for marketing and ad strategy, and a willingness to take feedback as it comes & learn as you go. Responsibilities and Duties

Write Copy that Converts:

• Ideate, research, and craft blog posts that are search engine optimized with an on-brand delivery and excellent user experience.
• Write Amazon product listings, specifically driven by keyword research, SEO, and Amazon best practices
• Support our Senior Copywriter in recording learnings from campaign performance & together develop creative solutions to continuously improve sales and click-through rates.
• Write with a marketing-driven approach, optimizing copy to drive impactful results (i.e. sales, high click-through rates on ads, etc.)
• Work with our Acquisition team to write captions, scripts & ad copy that converts.

Understand the Brand and Customer Voice:

• Ensure consistency and connect with customers throughout all brand touch points.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices within an ever-evolving digital marketing landscape
• Lean on the Senior Copywriter to learn the brand voice and write with appropriate grammar & tone.

Project Management:

• Keep project goals at the center of work and make actionable steps to achieve these goals.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, and around necessary pivots.
• Experience giving & receiving feedback, while remaining flexible in creative approach and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Work Experience:

• Ability to align with O Positiv’s brand guidelines and translate it into a cohesive, consistent, and relatable voice
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of equivalent work experience
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Detail-oriented and meticulous copywriting, copy editing and proofreading skills
• Experience writing copy across diverse platforms, especially paid social.
• Deep understanding of marketing strategies for paid social ads, and how written content and ads can play a large role in converting customers
• Constantly looking to perfect your ability to write copy that drives conversion
• Strong conceptual thinker with a passion for developing brand narratives, engaging content and storytelling with a results-oriented approach
• A strong understanding of SEO

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Writing experience within female-empowered, women-focused industries
• Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
• Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics; basic Excel is a plus

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $65,000 - $85,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

Hybrid: Mon-Thurs in-office in Santa Monica, CA + work-from-anywhere Fridays
