The University of Washington Press has an outstanding opportunity for an Acquisitions Editor.
The Acquisitions Editor will join a terrific team of publishing professionals. Based in Seattle, the press is part of a vibrant book culture, with a wealth of independent bookstores, museums, cultural centers, and book supporters throughout the region.
Acquisitions Areas:
Acquisitions areas include Native and Indigenous studies; critical ethnic studies; women’s, gender, and sexuality studies; environmental history and environmental justice; and Asian studies; with the opportunity to contribute to and build distinguished lists in other areas.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
