Internship Title: Accounts Payable Intern

Length of Internship: Year round

Location: Remote

Overview:

The Accounts Payable Internship will last a full year starting on candidate’s availability but no later than June 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Invoice processing and coding
• Working with all departments to track invoices
• Support the Accounts Payable team with assigned tasks
• Other AP miscellaneous tasks and projects

Projects the intern will work on: TBD

Internship Goals: Expand knowledge and gain valuable work experience.

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Specific course work: At least 2 years of accounting courses.
• Must interact well in a team environment
• Willing to do what it takes to get the job done individually or as a team
• Highly motivated along with a passion for quality work
• Major(s): Accounting/Finance
• Year in school: completed at least 2 years at an accredited college/university. Sophomore or Junior preferred.

Preferred Qualities Possessed by Candidate:

• Effective communication
• Organized
• Detail oriented
• Team player
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
