Job Description
Guardian Energy, LLC has an opening for an Accounting/Administrative Assistant. Accounting/Administrative Assistant


The Accounting/Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing accounting and administrative functions for personnel throughout the organization. This would be an in-office role at our Janesville location.


Job Duties


  • Assist in arranging and coordinating travel schedules and reservations.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies, working within the defined budget.
  • Process payroll and be the onsite HR liaison with duties including new hire/on-boarding paperwork.
  • Process receipts and invoices for accounts payable.
  • Coordinate event planning and assist with preparation for meetings and tours.
  • Oversee reception area; greeting guests, answering telephones, and routing visitors and/or calls to appropriate area or person.
  • Backup grain accountant duties when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Read and route incoming mail.


Qualifications


Education/Certification: High school diploma required. Two-year degree preferred.


Required Knowledge & Experience


  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • 2-3 years payroll/accounts payable/receptionist or related experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment required.

Physical Activities And Requirements Of This Position


Ability to sit for long periods of time. Able to view computer screen for lengths at a time. Must be able to speak and listen clearly. Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy. May be exposed to loud noises, wet and humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, extreme hot and cold depending on weather conditions.
