Our Opportunity

The Accounts Payable/Receivable professional is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payables and cash receipts.

Essential Functions

• Process weekly AP check runs
• Issue purchase orders to vendors as needed
• Record and maintain all 1099 information and process year-end reports
• Reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable ledger
• Maintain regular, positive communication with customers and internal employees
• Verify and process lien waivers
• Perform assigned collection activities on past due accounts
• Deposit incoming cash receipts and apply to customer accounts
• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues and payment discrepancies
• Enter and post AP invoices in a timely manner
• Assist accounting department with special projects/duties as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy
• Minimum of three years prior AP and AR experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP/EPM accounting software.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to transition between multiple accounting platforms
