Overview


In this newly created role, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in the financial operations of FreightPlus. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections of incoming payments from customers. The Accounts Receivable Clerk works closely with the accounting and operations team to facilitate efficient cash flow and maintain positive relationships with clients.


Location: Quincy, MA


Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to address inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Reconcile income payments with outstanding invoices and resolve and discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Verify that all required supporting documents are provided as necessary
  • Generate accurate and timely invoices for freight and related services to customers
  • Ensure strict quality control standards are held and that invoices are in compliance with customer agreements


Requirements


Qualifications


  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in related field and 3-5 years of experience working with high transaction volume AR/AP preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED is required


Background in Supply Chain / Logistics a plus but not required
