Job Description

Who we are

Our mission at Biarri Networks is simple but not easy: close the digital divide. The past few years have proven how essential broadband access is to work, education, health and human connection.

Yet too many people have been left behind due to cost and overlooked because of bad data and bad actors. We’re here to revolutionize all that. Better, smarter, more innovative and cost-effective ways of connecting the world are possible. We’ve proven it already and we’re working on more solutions.

Ready to join us?

Our culture

Five core values power everything we do:

  1. Honor. We’re honest with each other and our clients. We do the right thing. Always.
  2. Power of mathematics. Math is magic. Of course, it’s real too, which is why we unlock it, leverage it and bring it to the forefront. In short, we democratize it.
  3. Positive impact. We aim to leave each other, our clients, our community and our planet better after every interaction.
  4. Freedom to innovate. Nobody has a monopoly on good ideas. Nobody. Innovation is our secret sauce.
  5. Purpose and intent. We get the job done. We act with a sense of urgency and efficiency.

What will you contribute?

Our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

What we bring to the table

  • Four weeks of vacation/year
  • Competitive referral program
  • Regularly scheduled company-sponsored social events and lunches
  • Employee assistance program
  • A competitive salary ($60,000 - 75,000/year)
  • Individual learning and professional development
  • Employer sponsored contribution towards CO FAMLI program
  • A flexible work policy so you can work where and when it’s best for you
  • 401k with company match
  • Parental leave that exceeds the minimum required by law
  • Customized staff bonuses
  • Generous insurance benefits (health, dental and vision)

What you bring to the table

We are on the lookout for a motivated Accountant to join our Finance team at Biarri Networks! This role will require a person comfortable working autonomously and capable of resolving US specific finance issues, coupled with some global multi-entity tasks split across the team. You will be supported, assisted and managed by the Financial Controller.

We’re looking for an individual who is proactive, innovative and who can develop great working relationships amidst a global business structure. Being able to prioritize various work activities, as well as work well with some ambiguity is also key to your success in this role.

What success looks like

At Biarri Networks, we take immense pride in our company culture, and the right person for this position must have a matching passion for contributing and continuing to grow that culture.

Some of the established responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of monthly payroll and associated compliance
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist in producing monthly management reports including month end journals, cost allocations and workpapers.
  • Supplier invoicing and AP management

  • System management and support

As a business we focus on innovation and continual improvement, both of which are key mandates of the finance team and the role; we need to continue to push the envelope. As we are growing significantly, there will be opportunities to expand your knowledge outside of finance through numerous projects and initiatives from sales through to operations.

What we’re looking for
