As an accountant I on the Americas Accounting team, you will be contributing to the success of the business through maintaining accounting records for company-owned stores operating expenses and preparing information to support finance and operations as well as external reporting needs. The Americas Accounting team has overall accounting responsibility for the North America company-owned and licensed store business units. This role will focus in providing accounting support for the company-owned retail business.


As an accountant I, you will…


  • Assist internal customers with accounting questions relating to the company-owned retail business and interpretation of store profit & loss report.
  • Creates and maintains documentation on processes and procedures.
  • Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with applicable accounting principles and company policies, with a focus in operating expenses.
  • Participate in other collaborative projects and assignments as needed to support the goals of the department.
  • Contribute ideas and drive improvements to existing processes with a focus on automation and improvements leveraging new systems/tools.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, including census reporting to government agencies and company-owned store list.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Experience in accounting at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting and analysis or equivalent experience preferred (1+ year)
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and processes, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and tools quickly to drive process improvements
  • Ability to collaborate and assist in problem-solving
  • Intermediate level analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective customer service skills
