Account Manager - Cannabis

CULTA is a vertically integrated cannabis company that cultivates, extracts, processes, distributes and retails cannabis and cannabis-related products. CULTA proudly grows all its own cannabis in processing facilities in Cambridge and sells product in its flagship Baltimore dispensary. CULTA products are also available in dispensaries throughout the state of Maryland. POSITION SUMMARY: CULTA has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers. In this role, you will act as an ambassador of the company and and industry, becoming a trusted face to our customers while also upholding state guidelines, company values, and policy. As a member of the Sales team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to your customers. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Will travel to customer locations throughout the state of Maryland Builds strong and successful relations with clients and acts as the customer's first point of contact Identifies opportunities to improve sales performance Monitors market conditions and competition by gathering researching pricing and products Actively calls on new prospects and cross/upselling existing accounts Responsible for identifying the potential tiers and business opportunities of wholesale customers Takes an active role in the inventory and revenue aspects of the sales process QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field required Minimum of 2 years work experience in the cannabis industry preferred Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience preferred Valid Driver's License required; must be 21 years of age REQUIRED SKILLS Highly organized and self-motivated Resourceful, organized, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills, and a high level of professional maturity Ability to create, maintain and build professional relationships and rapport with clients and business allies Savvy with technology with the ability to maximize software features Proficiency with Microsoft 365 specifically Power Point, Excel, and Word BENEFITS Health/RX, Health Savings Account, Dental, Vision, EAP 401(K) - Safe Harbor Match Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays Discount on apparel & product Casual dress **All positions require the ability to pass background check and drug test as required by Maryland law.
