Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the production of high-quality prototypes and final products.
• Collaborate with marketing teams, brand managers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, messaging, and target audience.
• Conduct research and keep up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to ensure designs are fresh, modern, and relevant.
• Continuously improve and optimize design processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality.
• Participate in project meetings, presenting design ideas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Select materials, colors, and finishes that are consistent with client brand guidelines and project goals.
• Conceptualize and create 3D POP designs for in-store displays, event setups, and promotional campaigns.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure prototypes and final products meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Create technical drawings and specifications, including materials, dimensions, and assembly instructions, for production and manufacturing.
• Use CAD software, preferably Rhino for modeling and Keyshot for rendering, to create detailed 3D models and renderings.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent field
• At least 5 years ofexperience in POP Design.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management

• Proficient in modeling and rendering software

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration

Overall, we are looking for a collaborative 3D POP Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and has a good understanding of marketing principles and consumer behavior. They should also have strong technical skills in 3D modeling and CAD software, as well as project management skills to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Must be local to Chicagoland area.
