Deere & Company is seeking a Industrial Engineer in Valley City, ND with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Technology, a related field or foreign equivalent plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Use computer aided design or Industrial engineering tools including Methods Time Measurement Industrial Engineering Tool, FlexSim (Dynamic Line balancing Tool), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Graphical Sequence of Events Design, Auto-CAD, Creo, and PowerBI (5 yrs); Experience with new and existing part delivery and development process to establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for new parts or programs of moderate scope and able to handle virtual, durability, limited production and start of production activities (5 yrs); Research, develop, and implement electronic tools to optimize product, processes, and facilities using Manufacturing Process Documentation, Safety and Ergonomics Risk Assessment, Continuous Improvements, Current Method of Manufacturing (CMM) (5 yrs); Apply knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, lean manufacturing and production systems, or industrial engineering processes to improve capacity, productivity of line (5 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 20% remote work allowed.
