Our Expectations

SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent field of study
  • Understanding of the design and procurement processes
  • Proficiency in Revit is preferred
  • Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability
  • Working knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, and the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents
  • Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMA
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills

SECTION II: TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCY

  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic
  • Ability to direct and motivate work efforts of others and handle stressful situations
  • Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients

LS3P Student Interns work on an exciting mix of strategically aligned challenging assignments and projects that help drive the achievement of the firm’s strategy and mission. Managers and colleagues work side by side with summer interns ensuring development and learning.

A cover letter, resume and portfolio demonstrating Revit skills and rendering abilities are required. Your cover letter needs to include the dates of availability for working an internship.



Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting.
