Ability to learn how to effectively utilize Warehouse Management Software (WMS)

Manage the daily functions of the business

3+ years of experience in a logistics and/or supply chain role

Strong organizational and communication skills

Spanish language skills is a plus

Establish and maintain business standards for shipment accuracy and client communication

High level of interpersonal skills and management experience working with teams within a warehouse/fulfillment center environment

5+ years of experience in customer service, order management and logistics management

Experience with inventory and order management within an ERP system, NetSuite preferred.

Inventory management and order fulfillment experience

High level of experience within a fulfillment center/warehouse environment, international shipping and inventory management.

3+ years of experience managing a team

At least three months experience in an alternate management role within ALDI preferred.

Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Recruits, selects, promotes, manages, develops and terminates Warehouse Associates and Warehouse Shift Supervisors to retain a motivated and professional workforce.

Manages the relationships with on-site partner companies, analyzes and communicates operational change concerns to ensure acceptable standards.

Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to assure mutual understanding of desired results.

Oversees and manages the performance of direct reports relating to training, development, motivation, retention and discipline.

A minimum of 5-7 years of direct people management experience of hourly and salaried employees.

Experience with automation or MHE (material handling equipment) and labor management system

Responsible for strategic initiatives outlined from the Project Management group

Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.

Manages 4-8 direct reports, 200-600 indirect depending on time of year and building size

Supports the Distribution Center Director and/or General Manager in creating and implementing operating and strategic plans to drive continuous improvements.

Bachelors degree REQUIRED - prefer in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related major

Lead team of salaried Operations Managers and Frontline employees

Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety

Develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues

Motivate the team to achieve performance targets
