M.S. in Chemistry with 0-5 years industry experience or B.S. in Chemistry with over 5 years industry experience.

Perform safe lab practices; comply with Site safety protocols and Site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Maintain a detailed lab notebook

Interpret data and make recommendations to management for improvement or potential concerns

Assist laboratory management with the preparation and execution of laboratory investigations/deviations and CAPA.

Strong analytical skills with experience using HPLC, GC and other lab equipment

Compare laboratory data against specifications, prepare reports, and trend data where applicable to determine if results meet requirements

Experience with Medical Devices and/or OTC consumer products

Independently perform method evaluation/development/validation/verification and troubleshooting instruments and improvement of processes

Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: dbt, Airflow, etc.

6+ years of experience in a major database environment

Experience leading analytics projects from beginning to operationalization

Experience in building dashboards and analysis using tools such as Looker, Tableau, and related tools.

Experience in complex SQL query optimization and schema refinement

Data modeling experience using Star and Snowflake and familiarity with relational database design

Associates Degree in Chemistry or related field with 0-3 years of experience in an API GMP manufacturing facility, OR

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related field with 0-2 years of experience in an API GMP manufacturing facility.

Learn to follow cGMP documentation and work instructions accurately and completely.

Performs basic laboratory functions including: weighing/balance use, solution preparation, pipetting, pH meter use.

Performs routine testing for the following techniques/instrumentation: appearance, FT-IR, Karl Fischer, TGA/DSC, HPLC.

Learn and perform laboratory and glassware cleaning, handling of high potent and controlled substances, and prepares samples for 3rd party testing.

Utilize Windows based personal computers, instrumentation operation, data reporting, analytical calculations, and sample management.

Lead the development to advance CIMS analytical chemistry capabilities.

Experience in separations chemistry over a broad spectrum of elemental groups.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Analytical Chemist II are:

Perform non-routine instrumental analyses using DSC, FTIR, and other techniques noted above with minimal supervision;

Understand and operates LIMS, laboratory data acquisition system, and other instrument-specific computer systems;

Accurately record, calculate, and report analytical results meeting both ISO and Good Laboratory Practice standards. Maintain accurate records;

MS or PhD in chemistry, physics, geochemistry, or nuclear engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience

Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, physics, or related field and 1-3 years’ relevant experience

Relevant experience includes in academia, private industry or nuclear

Significant experience and ability to track details without losing sight of broader scientific objectives

Experience in radiochemistry, radioactive counting techniques, and/or analytical chemistry methods
