Residential Program Supervisor Jobs

-Knowledge of public administration and management techniques; statistical analysis processes; of budget processes

-Knowledge of research techniques; training and marketing techniques; and of program management processes and techniques.

-Assist management in planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating programs.

- Assist in the preparation of training and operational manuals, and educational and marketing materials.

-Knowledge of workforce programs, integrated service delivery, and workforce operations

-Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to the program area

Manage staff hiring, termination, and progressive disciplinary actions.

At least three years of work experience as a Residential Aide and/or in a client-facing role at a social services organization.

Compensation Range: $19/hr - $21/hr commensurate with experience

Supervise staff of Residential Aides at the program site and ensure coverage by creating a regular staff schedule.

Build rapport with program clients and engage with them professionally and respectfully

When necessary, de-escalate tense, even hostile, client situations

$500.00 on six month anniversary

$500.00 on the anniversary of one year of employment.

Will coordinate, implement, and supervise the administrative and clinical operations of the home, including residential program development.

Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment

Ensure the provision of appropriate individuals' services as indicated in Individual Service Plans

Utilize evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery goals (includes symptom management, ADL support, medication education, extra-curricular activities, etc.)

Basic computer and email skills

Provision of adequate staffing for all shifts

Direct work with clients, both 1:1 and in a group setting

Coverage for other Residential Supervisors

Maintains proper levels of inventory and orders maintenance supplies as needed with the Property Manager’s approval.

Obtains bids and interacts with vendors. Remains knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies and services.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Order processing systems.

Completes service requests within 24 hours.

Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.

Each REEP participant will be paid $16/hour.

Hires, trains, and mentors direct reports in consultation with the Program Manager and Human Resources.

Ensure every tenant has a great experience throughout the life of their tenancy, beginning at move-in.

Assist program participants, case managers, and property providers in navigating the public housing agency (PHA) system, if applicable.

Provides complete and accurate documentation of all regulatory requirements.

Provides supervision and training of Direct Support Professionals,

Assists those living in the home to complete personal and medical cares

Collects data and completes documentation of service delivery

2 year's experience in direct youth care services preferred

Obtain and maintain KDHE Program Director credentials, including 16 hours of approved continuing education training annually.

Represent the Derby Recreation Commission at other special events.

Research, develop and implement new events for the community of Derby of all ages.
