1. Responsible for optimizing processes for cost, time, quantity, and quality of product produced.

8. Assist in the development of the annual equipment, capital, yield improvement and expense plans.

Interact with clients and management to provide updates on project scope, schedule, and budget.

Design and model piping systems using 3D software, with preference given to experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Manage projects and a team, ensuring successful project completion within budget and schedule.

5+ years of experience in mechanical process engineering.

Strong ability to work well within a team environment, with a positive attitude, multi-tasking skills, and self-motivation.

Generate piping isometrics, orthographics, and support details using 3D and 2D software.

Strong program/project management, leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.

Working with management to generate technology roadmap to enable future products

Manage internal and external process and quality escalations

7+ yields of hands-on experience working in a high volume manufacturing or equivalent environment preferred

Managing the portfolio of R&D, yield improvement, and capacity improvement projects; drive process engineering team to on-time delivery of key milestones

Mentoring process engineers on best practices for process development, experimental design, data analysis, root cause analysis and problem solving.

Ability to effectively advise management of product conformance, capability issues, and provide fact -based recommendations for improvement and problem resolution.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.

Perform other tasks as required by management.

Superior computer skills, with solid experience in CAD, CAM and Matlab/LabView, MiniTab, or similar programs.

Confirms system and product capabilities by designing and conducting feasibility studies and testing methods and properties.

Manages subcontractors who aid in the designing, construction, and implementation of projects.

Manage site construction activities including coordinating different construction tasks, supervision of various trade contractors, communicating with vendors, contractors, facility owner/operators.

Manage project construction budget and schedule.

Successfully manage the startup of process systems and their commissioning.

5 + years of engineering experience.

Experience working in an engineering capacity in pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, consumer goods manufacturing, or other industrial manufacturing operation.

Experience working with an engineering design firm or engineering consulting firm.

Manages lines through team approach principals and developing effective, self- sustaining work teams

1-2 years of trade school or college and three years of manufacturing experience (preferred)

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing

Ability to work in and manage a team-oriented environment

Requirements for the position include:

Project management experience leading multi-functional and multi-location teams

8 or more years of people management experience

Monitor the execution of technical projects and develop presentations to disseminate results to project stakeholders and senior management

General knowledge of mechanical assembly, machine shop operations and practices, tooling, and fixture design,

Good organizational skills, communication skills, work ethic, ability multi-task and work on a team

No direct reports, but leadership and training for staff within Manufacturing Engineering and Operations will be expected.
