8+ in packaging procurement (on-shore, near shore and global) and contract administration/management; experience purchasing rigid and flexible packaging and vape hardware.

APICS or Supply Chain Certification is preferred.

Undertakes day-to-day, full-cycle, packaging & vape hardware procurement activities for GTI’s top brands and related categories.

Oversees capital project creation and implementation

• Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary

• 5+ years’ experience designing consumer goods packaging, 2+ years’ experience in managerial role

• Assign design tasks, provide art direction, and manage team‘s priorities

• Work with product managers to make sure tasks have correct information before assigning

• Able to communicate clear directions to designers, product managers and internal stake holders

• Highly collaborative, openly share knowledge and ideas and incorporate input from others

Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook

Minimum 2 years related work experience.

Ensure proper communication is reciprocated between yourself and all parties relating to shift change or general information.

Proper reporting of all safety or mechanical deficiencies to the proper department or leader.

Assure that productivity flow is not interrupted by a shortage of supplies to the area or personnel issues within your control.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of packaging experts, providing guidance and support as needed.

Effectively manage resources to achieve gross profit goals

Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Work closely with clients to identify packaging needs, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

Experience managing suppliers in a Supplier Performance or Relationship Management program (SPM/SRM) which has improved supplier’s performance and impact.

Strong strategic sourcing and contract management skills at regional level.

Drive and ensure compliance related to Procurement and Contract Management.

Act as key contributor to Risk Management process for KIND NA; lead key projects and interface with BU and Central Procurement

A track record of executing innovation, risk mitigation, and relationship management.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams, especially with R&D, Technical, Material Planning, Project Management, and manufacturing sites.

• 1+ years of project management experience.

• Completing all packaging project management tasks as assigned by the National Packaging Manager.

• Experience in product manufacturing and packaging.

• 3 + years of packaging experience.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and project planning/coordination skills.

Knowledge and experience working with GMPs

A minimum of eight (8) years of pharmaceutical manufacturing at least five (5) of them in a managerial position.

Experience in development and implementation of cost reduction and projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as high level of interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills
