Overnight Janitor Jobs

Monitors safety issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports issues to Maintenance Manager/Lead.

Reports facility related issues to Maintenance Manager/Lead.

Any all knowledge of chemical cleaning usage.

Provides general cleaning of the facilities. Ensures that all repairs are met and maintained. it maintained.

Janitor will be responsible for cleaning floors, carpets, walls, doors, seats, sidewalks, parking lots.

Maintains restroom cleanliness on a day to day basis. Replenishes restroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

Some experience or knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment, desired

Shows initiative regarding job functions and accepts new responsibilities

Janitor Physical and Mental Requirements:

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as needed

High School diploma/GED or 6 months previous custodial work experience.

Ability to interact effectively with employees with disabilities.

Cleans offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break room, library, kitchenette, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

Sweeps floors using brooms, and mops.

Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using the vacuum cleaner.

Minimum 6 months of related commercial cleaning experience, or similar work experience.

Willing to comply with OSHA/safety requirements.

Stock restrooms, janitor closets, and cleaning carts as needed. Communicate needed supplies to management.

Report damaged/broken equipment to management.

Observe and report any potential safety or maintenance concerns to management.

Perform other duties as directed by management.

1+ year of prior cleaning or janitorial experience.

Ability to manage time efficiently and produce quality work within pre-set time frames.

Schedule: Full-time schedule; open availability preferred, weekends are required. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.

Attends to any emergency situation on-property immediately and informs senior management.

Oversees owner/guest experience during the overnight shift.

Clean common area of property (Sweep, mop, remove trash, clean restrooms, etc.)

Patrols all areas of the property overnight.

Forwards main property phone line to cellular phone during patrols.

Assists owners, guests, and employees during the overnight hours.
