Kids Assistant Jobs

As a Kids Korner Attendant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Supervising and ensuring the safety of children in Kids Korner

Answering questions from and providing information to parents

High school diploma or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience required

Experience creating high-quality presentations using PowerPoint is required

Experience working with budgets is strongly preferred

Previous Nike work experience is a plus

Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of personalities including senior level executives

2 years of management or supervisory experience

Successfully complete and pass Kids Manager Certification

Completes the hiring process and manages the Assistant(s), Supervisor(s) while providing training, feedback, coaching, and direction

First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire

1 year of experience teaching or working in a children’s program

Ensures team members initiate, develop and maintain personalized relationships with members and their children

Experience with a multitude of art mediums and crafting skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Driven and motivated to help grow a small local business

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of or ability to learn early childhood education standards.

Communication skills that reflect professionalism and kindness at all times.

Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum in accordance with the curriculum policy.

Maintains summer camp inventory and order supplies with the permission of the Kids Manager

Provides assistance and recommendations for hiring, termination, training and performance feedback of staff to the Kids Manager

1 year of summer camp counselor experience

Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification

Engages children in interactive activities including, organized arts & crafts, singing, sports activities, games, and field trips

Ensures Counselors are engaged, interacting with campers at all times, and building a positive relationship with campers

Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

Duties to include but not limited to the following:

May facilitate monthly and annual commemorative services for staff, Hospice families, and the community at large including a Hospice fundraiser.

Maintains an active role in the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team.

OR State LCSW, CSWA, or QMHP eligible; license required within 6 months of hire.

Valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured to state regulations and is in good running order.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.

Promotes and assists Kids Manager in preparing for events/programming along with marketing and driving participation numbers and revenue

Manages the Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines while making recommendations as needed to the Kids Manager

Manages and supports the Kids team members by providing ongoing training, giving feedback, and coaching

2 years of experience teaching or working in a children’s program

Successfully complete and pass Kids On-Demand Certifications before 1st day of work
