Kids Korner Attendant Jobs

The City of O'Fallon is looking for an energetic and caring team member for the position of Kids Korner Attendant. This position plays an important role in providing childcare services for patrons of the city gym. Our Kids Korner Attendants enjoy a fun work environment, with plenty of variety in their workdays. The expected starting hourly rate for this position is $12.55.

We're looking for someone who has the desire to provide a fun and safe experience for kids and possesses strong oral and written communication skills. This person should be able to easily learn department policies and procedures and have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment.

As a Kids Korner Attendant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Answering questions from and providing information to parents
• Cleaning and stocking toys, equipment and supplies
• Supervising and ensuring the safety of children in Kids Korner
• Attending mandatory quarterly staff meetings
• Administers first aid as needed
• Maintaining accurate attendance records

Applicants must:

• Knowledge of first-aid and CPR
• Be skilled in the management and care of children
• Be able to work nights, weekends, holidays or other irregular hours, as required
• Possess knowledge of childcare principles and practices
