Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Jobs

Responsible for ICS (Industrial Control System) maintenance, business requirements and access control together with Hydro AM IS/IT

Support plants in US staying compliant to internal and external IT requirements

Bachelor degree within Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience

Valuable working experience with IT Infrastructure

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure configuration (and operation) and Level 2 development

Result-oriented attitude and strong problem solving and analytical capabilities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborate with third-party vendors and consultants to develop system specific skills.

Microsoft System Center (Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, OMS, InTune) required.

Knowledge of Containers, Windows or Docker a plus

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Maintain CITRIX and or Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Cloud environment.

You have experience in translating business use cases into technical requirements and implement solutions to meet those requirements.

You’re passionate about simplifying everything, automating wherever possible, and constantly working to improve the stability of user’s experience.

You have experience driving technical projects, prioritizing work, identifying dependencies, and facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions.

You understand High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities of applications and its components in general.

Must have at least 7 Years of progressive experience in similar field.

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience with High School Diplo

Ensuring appropriate monitoring configurations are in place and take ownership of incident management.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems or related field

Extensive knowledge of Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking, and storage

Experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, CloudFront, S3)

Experience architecting cloud infrastructures on AWS for small, medium enterprise level applications.

Experience with configuring networking and security configurations including security groups, ACL’s and Gateways.

Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems

Experience performing automation in Linux or Windows environments using scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell, specifically ansible.

Experience with software chain-of-trust and hardening images in RHEL

Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.
