The Junior IS/IT Infrastructure Engineer will ideally be located near one of our recycling plants and will support multiple sites including Cassopolis MI, Commerce TX, Henderson KY, HA Tech Zeeland and Baltimore MD on IS/IT infrastructure tasks. In addition, position supports the Recycling organization in US on security, compliance, and application(s) task when needed.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support in our MES (Manufactoring Execution System) and ERP systems. Hydro core systems here are APICS and SAP S/4Hana
• Participate in all IS/IT related tasks connected to the Cassopolis start-up
• Support in EIT (Enterprise IT) systems on behalf of recycling plants in the US
• Support plants in US staying compliant to internal and external IT requirements
• Single point of contact for all recycling plants in US in addition to HA Tec Zeeland and Commercial organization located at Baltimore
• Responsible for ICS (Industrial Control System) maintenance, business requirements and access control together with Hydro AM IS/IT
• Assist plants in problem solving and change requests ICS and EIT
• Part of the Recycling Process and Support team
• Follow up SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system on behalf of US and become a super-user
• Procurement and installation of hardware equipment, both ICS and EIT

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work in a true global team setup and corporate with internal and external stakeholders
• Frequent travels within the US will be required
• Excellent Communication & Presentation skills, must be a team player
• Motivated, forward leaning, and natural urge to “do things better”
• Valuable working experience with IT Infrastructure
• Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
• Worked in onsite-offshore delivery mode
• Result-oriented attitude and strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Bachelor degree within Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure configuration (and operation) and Level 2 development
