Education/Training: High School education or equivalent preferred; additional mechanic training or trade school degree preferred.

Related Experience: A minimum of six months previous mechanic experience required.

Experience with ISO9001 Quality System rules, regulations, including planning and implementation. Also, NAVSEA and ASME experience preferred.

PC-based computing experience (word processing-Word, spreadsheet-Excel, presentation- PowerPoint, documentation s/w, statistical software) essential.

Requires basic reading and math skills.

Requires knowledge of product quality and basic operations acquired through three months of training.

Repack product merchandise into cartons on sack/tray lines.

Loads boxes of packaged chips onto skids.

Standing required 100% of the time.

Ability to communicate production issues to fellow co-workers and supervision.

Preferred Experience, Education & Qualifications

Participate in method qualification/validation activities as necessary

Analyze, document, and report experimental data in accordance with Resilience requirements

2 or more years of relevant life science experience

Experience in mammalian cell culture

Knowledge of general analytical methods

Escorts team members with deposits from various Zoo and Zoombezi Bay departments to Finance.

Successfully pass special response team qualification, semi-annually

Minimum of four years’ experience as a security guard or related occupation preferred

Two or Four-year degree in related field or 2 to 4 years of law enforcement, military or relevant experience preferred.

Current CPR, ERT and AED certification required.

Ability to successfully pas a special response team (SRT) qualification semi-annually

Welds together metal components as specified by layout, diagram, work order, welding procedures, using electric wire feed welding equipment;

Welds in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.

Cleans or degreases weld joint or work piece using wire brush, portable grinder.

May cut metal plate or structural shapes using oxy/acetylene torch.

May use bore repair equipment, SMA equipment and carbon arc equipment.

Actively perform work to ensure WCM criteria is met.

1-year experience running a production machine with performance expectations is a minimum requirement.

Setup, operate and produce finish-cut, printed products to match job ticket expectations and scheduling requirements.

Checks first off runs to ensure that requirements are met and product matches proofs.

Digital and/or Wide Format printing experience is a plus.

Zund cutter or router experience a plus.

Problem solving and decision-making skills.

Verify internally fabricated parts and assemblies conform to specifications

Communicates deficiencies to appropriate departments, helps perform corrective action and follow-up

High school education or equivalent required

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspection experience as an A&P Mechanic

Preferred - Minimum 1-2 years’ experience on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft aircraft.

Use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet a piston airframe and engine principals

Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and abide by Textron Fleet Vehicle handbook and AOA access requirements.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.
