CCNA/JNCIS or equivalent routing & switching certification, and/or optical certification required.

Multi Services Operator (MSO) / Cable Operator experience preferred

Must be a self-starter with sound problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

Experience with Remedy/ServiceNow would be plus

1+ Year of industry experience or equivalent in an analytical lab or similar manufacturing environment.

Education: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred (not required).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Excellent fine motor skills, including soldering and probing PCBAs.

Strong demonstrable experience with electrical test equipment: Power Supplies, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, and other common equipment.

Fine electronics probing and solder skills necessary.

2+ years of electrical, mechanical or relevant data center experience

2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

4+ years of Data Center Engineering Experience

Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling

Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance

Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, SAS, etc.

Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills, presentation skills, and collaborative, skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

Experience in telecommunications industry desired

Activates electronics by powering up the equipment via 48V or AC.

Loads configuration from the engineering work package on customer equipment.

Performs customer CPE testing, on-site.
